The mission of Southeastern Library Services is to strengthen local libraries to ensure access to equal and excellent library service for the residents of its fifteen county service area.
What We Do
Southeastern Library
Services provides consulting, continuing education, interlibrary loan,
reference services and many other services to libraries in fifteen counties of
Southeast Iowa. Southeastern was originally created by the Iowa Legislature in 1973 and continues to operate according to an Iowa Code established in 2001. Southeastern is
governed by an appointed Board of Trustees.
